My name is Balaram Behera. I am a doctor working in the government health service in Odisha, which means most of my working life is spent in an outpatient department, seeing a great many people in not much time.
I started this site for two reasons.
The first is that the same explanations come up again and again across a clinic day — why a blood pressure tablet is not a course, what a fever is doing, what to carry to a hospital visit — and there is rarely time to give them properly. Writing them down once, in plain language, seemed more useful than repeating them badly three hundred times. Those are under Clinic.
The second is that I read, and I would like somewhere to put what comes out of it. That part is under Writing, and it is empty at the moment, which is an honest reflection of how much I have finished rather than how much I have started.
Nothing here is advice about your particular illness. I cannot examine you through a screen, and I would be doing you a disservice to pretend otherwise.
